Pakmaya Izmit – Kosekoy plant produced the first Pakmaya yeast on 1973. It has expanded greatly since then, and is still producing yeast, mainly for the export market.
As Gıda, the bread and flour improvers plant which also produces powder mixes for the home, shares the same campus as the Pakmaya yeast plant.
The Pbio Biotechnology Center and the Fagem Baking Research and Development Center are also in the same site.
